Young Stars Talents kicked off the ‘ESEA Intermediate’ season at the start of October, on 8 October to be precise. Since then, they have played 12 out of 14 matches. How did they get on, and what lies ahead for them now?
Young Stars Talents won their first four matches without much trouble. They faced Permitta, MVP Cyber Team, 7X and SeComportaYa in succession, with scores of 13:3, 13:10, 13:3 and 13:3 respectively. After these four matches, Young Stars Talents finished the second week of the competition with a 4:0 record.

After a good run, a bad one was bound to follow. For Young Stars Talents, it lasted three matches. The first defeat came after a poor performance, losing 4:13 to Token Gaming. The second, after a very close match, was also lost, this time to the highly-regarded Copenhagen Wolfes Academy by a score of 11:13. The final match of the losing streak was against GenOne Academy, ending 23:25. Following this run of defeats, Young Stars Talents had a record of 4:3.

Fortunately, Young Stars Talents returned to winning ways in their subsequent matches. They played their first match to break the losing streak against Sera Ascent, whom they defeated 13:7. Their next match was against 5 GoblinZ, which they won 13-6. The following two matches posed no obstacle for Young Stars Talents. The first did not take place because the opponents failed to turn up, resulting in a walkover victory for Young Stars Talents. Young Stars Talents wrapped up the second match quickly with a 13-4 victory. The most recent match at the time of writing was against Qlimax. It ended with a 13-11 win for Young Stars Talents. Thus, they concluded their campaign so far with a 9-3 record.

Now, Young Stars Talents have just two matches left to play, which could see them compete for a place in Pot A of the playoffs. This would guarantee them immediate promotion to the Main Division and give them the chance to fight for promotion to the Advanced Division. The first match will take place on 19 November at 8 pm, and the next on 21 November, also at 8 pm. Although the minimum target has been met, as Young Stars Talents have already secured a place in the B bracket of the playoffs, both the players and the organisation are certainly keen for more.
