The latest update to the Underground | CS2 Community rankings in July 2025. How does it differ from the others? Here’s the full list of teams, and this time we’re presenting you with the updated points system – or, as some might prefer to call it, the ‘Lotto ball draw’. You can see a huge difference in the points, and that’s because the ranking rewards promotion to the play-offs and higher divisions; and as the group stage of the Arrmy Open, Rising and Masters has concluded, bonus points have been awarded.

Promotion bonuses

Arrmy: Rising +45 points
Masters +90 points
ESEA: Intermediate +70 points
, Main +130 points
, Advanced +200 points

Each week, points are deducted from the team’s total; this is 2% in the first month, 4% in the second, and 8% in the third. In the fourth week it is 16 per cent, in the fifth 24 per cent and in the sixth 32 per cent. For example:
– In the second week: -2 per
cent– In the third week: -2 per
cent– In the fourth week: -2 per
cent– In the fifth week: -4 per cent

Points for a won match

We won’t be setting out the full scoring rules here; if you’d like to receive them, please get in touch via our partner’s Discord server. We can only say that the more points you receive depends on which division you play in on Arrmy or ESEA; for example, in Arrmy Open, a match win is worth 6 points, whilst in Masters it’s 17 points.

Placement bonuses

Once the tournaments have finished, placement bonuses are also awarded. For the TOP8 (qualification for Rising), this is 75 points. For the TOP4 in Arrmy Rising, it’s 170 points, whilst winning Arrmy Masters is worth a whopping 295 points, with second place earning 255.

As for ESEA, the Intermediate tier roughly corresponds to the points awarded in Arrmy Masters. Finishing in the top 8 teams in ESEA Open1-8 earns 50 points. In the tier above, up to Faceit Level 9, this rises to 65 and 70 bonus points respectively. In ESEA Open, with no level cap, there are two brackets. In Bracket A, winning the entire tournament earns 200 points and 200 bonus points. For Bracket B (49th–72nd places), 90 points plus 70 bonus points.

Winning ESEA Intermediate earns 270 points and 270 bonus points. In ESEA Main, a place in the Top 8 is worth 550 points and 200 bonus points. And then there’s the final boss in the form of ESEA Advanced, where winning is worth 5,000 points, but everyone knows that for our underground teams (at the moment), this is rather a Mission: Impossible.

Many partners and many teams from this ranking are taking part in the Galaxy Cup. Winning a match in this competition is worth 17 points, winning the whole tournament is worth 225 points, and simply taking part in the tournament earns a team 17 points. Depending on the final position a team achieves, they could earn even more points.
