The third round of the Immunity League brought another dose of excitement and a few surprising results. It is becoming increasingly clear which teams are in contention for the knockout stage and which will need to turn things around in their upcoming matches. Some teams confirmed their form from earlier matches, whilst others surprised their rivals with bold play and unexpected results.
After more than two weeks of competition, which we covered in part in our round-up of the second round of the Immunity League, the situation in the tables is starting to become clearer, but the excitement is far from over. Every point could be crucial in the final group standings, and the battle for the top spots is still wide open. How did the third round of the Immunity League go?
3. KOLEJKA - GRUPA A
Thrills in Group A
The third round in Group A brought several key results that are beginning to shape the table. TNC Esports comfortably defeated NoName Team 13-5 on Ancient, showing that they are aiming for the top spots in the group. Nexium POLteam fared just as well, winning 13-5 against Awanturniki, adding more points and consolidating their position at the top. The situation looks less optimistic for Eco Bo Bieda. Unfortunately, the team decided to withdraw from the tournament, so their match against Insomnia was awarded as a walkover. The team will no longer participate in the remainder of the group stage.
The battle for positions in Group B
There was no shortage of excitement in Group B either. doZera secured another victory, this time 13-7 against VoFoxen on the Nuke map, maintaining their consistent form and a strong position in the table. Constrict Gaming also secured a full set of points, winning 13-8 against M0CZODOL on Overpass. This result confirms that the team is consistently executing its plan in the group stage. However, the most excitement came from the match between Victoria Nostra and Tytani Pracy, which ended 13-10 on Mirage. The contest remained wide open for a long time, but it was Victoria Nostra who kept their cool in the closing stages and secured the victory.
Surprises and controversies in Group C
There was plenty of action in Group C as well. After a strong performance, Modern Players defeated Vandals Clan 13-9 on Ancient, securing vital points in the race for the play-offs. In the second match, ViBe Gaming beat Timeless 13-9 on Mirage, securing a valuable victory and consolidating their position at the top of the table. There was also some confusion surrounding the match between Gloris AC and Oblivion Team. Although the match originally ended in a victory for Gloris, the result was changed to a walkover following the withdrawal of the Gloris academy… So, ultimately, the points were awarded to Oblivion Team.
Fierce competition and changes in Group D
In Group D, we saw some interesting results once again. After a closely fought match, Epoka Lodowcowa defeated Hussars 13-11 on Ancient. They thus add further points to their tally and consolidate their position at the top of the table. Tuga Clan secured a confident 13-5 victory over Visionary, confirming their good form in the ongoing group stage. This round ended less happily for Young Stars Talents. The team officially ended their participation in the Immunity League, meaning that Mollitiem were awarded points by default. Despite their premature exit from the league, the YS players left a good impression and put in solid performances in their previous matches.
